This is a recording blog, that documents the experimental recording sessions between 2 Kansans and other various collaborators that we invite into our studio. Besides music, you will find all sorts of multimedia projects we have done, videos and songs we like, or just random WEIRD posts that probably do not make any sense but that we find amusing. Feel free to ask us questions and to comment! Interaction is WEIRD!
We had a huge jam session Tuesday night in which we recorded drums, bass, and Guitar all with good sounding mics, plus synth and vocals through a bullhorn. We are forming a real band…so we got together with some friends and did some experimental jams to get a feel for each other. We are getting together next Tuesday to hopefully start writing some serious music.
Holleand - Drums Oliver - Bass Kevin - Guitar Dr. Gamage - Vox through a Bullhorn(We ran out of mics so you can’t hear it very well sadly) Griffin - Synth
From this 3rd session, January 29th of Twenty-Eleven, a RAW dity is born in the deepest depths of a Noise Fit. Here is the jam, recorded live and known as “Boogie House”. Let us know what you think!
Here is a clip of the first track we recorded from our March 24th Cassette Sessions Volume One. In this session we ran Dr. Gamage’s mic and computer into the mixer. He had a midi keyboard hooked up to the computer and had the VST preset on a string synth sound. Then we plugged My(Griffin) Mic into the board and added a delay effect to it that was running through the FX Send that was run into a Behringer Virtualizer Pro. The mixer then was ran through Griffin’s computer Via his audio interface. He ran a drum machine and several other VSTs as well as Dr. Gamage’s set up into the audio interface outs, which then ran straight into a vintage Panasonic Cassette Deck 610.
This track is a clip from the first improvisational jam. The audio levels were not set right which caused a little distortion on some of the lower frequencies, which I think make it sound pretty cool. Plus you can hear the tape hiss, which adds a little something to this low-fi recording. I blew into a bottle next to my mic in part of the recording. I also used a Sony Mini Cassette recorder and rewound and fast forwarded the tape while it played in other parts. I also did a little bit of beat boxing.
Dr. Gamage is responsible for the screams and other ambient vocals heard.
Because its bad grammar to start a sentence with because, makes us rebels! We’re like Wiki-leaks for grammar and shit!
You know what I hate? When people use the supposed internet-sensationalist term “LOLZ”…as in…”We do it for the LOLZ”. Fuck those fucks!
Corporations have kept us down lately… Leaving me, Griffnasty, and my associate Dr Gamage high and dry! How can we make music that rocks the minds of mother fuckers like you, and still make a living? It’s impossible this day and age! We can’t get our two different corporate job’s to give us the same day off…Fuck you moneybags CEO!
It’s OK though…We will write Obama and he will make this better! Remember people…it’s about hope!
Here’s a little fuck around anti-work song in the meantime…
This is a short but sweet micro blog, ok? So with that said… Remember that this is the modern age where we live for things and money! So whatever you do, don’t think, and make sure you spend all your money from every check on useless items ok?

Larry Weirdos Write Music For Local Druggies to “Trip” and Listen
I don’t eat speed…but if I did, I would write a song just like this. I don’t smoke weed…but if I did I would listen to shit like this! And that is how the World turns!
Why post an unmastered 24 minute song?
“Uhhh…We didn’t. We posted an unmastered 24:36 song.” -Griffnasty
Such true wit too!
Folks…this song is a classic piece from the Larry Weirdo catalogues. A song that testifies to the utilization of music as a daydream, and music as a spiritual mind! To confuse the two would be anarchy, though it happens often. The point is, you are alive when they start to eat you! So try to show a little respect, ok?
